Larry is a journeyman blues and R&B artist, hailing from the Chicagoland area. He's been performing since the age of 14 . By age 18, he was actively playing throughout the Midwest and over the years, has played all across America, as well as in the U.K. 

 
      Larry has shared the stage with many music greats and continues to  work with many other artists on stage and in the studio, splitting most of his time between Chicago and Nashville. 


     He still gigs with his own band from time to time but  is more highly sought, for his lyric writing and drumming . He  also plays many shows with keyboardist & long-time bandmate, LeMel Lewis as a duet, called "Times Two". 


      The song,"Everything I Need", from his solo LP "Leavin' Prophetstown", was nominated for a Grammy in 2016.  The album features Grammy-Winning Artists' Leland Sklar and Eric Scott on bass and Tim McDonald on keys. Currently, Larry has three solo albums out and is working on his 4th. 


      Also a passionate fundraiser- 10% of all proceeds from Larry's music sales goes directly to St. Jude Children's Cancer Hospital and Research Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
